Scope and information processed
This policy covers the Aven website, dashboard, SDK integrations, knowledge assistants, and onboarding guides. We process account identifiers and contact details; app and workspace configuration; documents, URLs, and repository content you connect; questions and assistant responses; guide definitions; and usage, device, request, and security metadata. The information available depends on your integration and settings.
How information is used
Information is used to authenticate users, operate workspaces, index connected knowledge, answer questions, deliver configured guidance, measure usage, administer subscriptions, provide support, and protect the service. Do not upload secrets or personal data that you are not authorized to process. AI answers are generated from the context supplied to the service.
Providers and payment information
Aven uses infrastructure and authentication providers including Google Cloud/Firebase, Vercel, and Clerk. Connected content and questions may be processed by configured AI, embedding, and email providers to deliver those features. Paddle processes purchases as merchant of record; Aven stores billing identifiers and subscription status rather than full payment-card details. Provider processing is subject to their applicable terms and privacy policies.
Storage, retention, and transfers
Workspace information is retained to operate your account and connected features. Deletion requests may require identity and workspace-authority verification. Limited records may be retained for security, fraud prevention, backup, accounting, or legal obligations. Service providers may process information in countries other than yours. Contact us for information about a particular integration or retention request.
Your choices and security
You can manage connected sources and guides in your workspace and request access, correction, deletion, or account closure using the contact below. Available rights depend on applicable law. Browser storage supports authentication and product preferences. Aven uses access controls and managed infrastructure, but no storage or transmission system is completely secure.
Website owners and the Chrome extension
If you integrate Aven into your website, you are responsible for informing users about that integration and obtaining any permission required for the data you send.
