Aven App Agent

Privacy Policy for Aven Visual Onboarding Builder

The extension handles the active builder page, selected target metadata, user-authored guide content, and scoped connection information only to create, preview, recover, and save Aven onboarding guides.

Information handled

During an active builder session, Aven handles the selected page URL and origin, target labels and selectors, guide content and settings, workspace identifiers, and a scoped builder token. It does not read passwords, payment fields, cookies, Chrome history, screenshots, or browsing outside the active builder session.

Use and storage

Information is used only to operate the builder, create durable guide targets, recover drafts, save connected guides, secure sessions, and maintain reliability. Session state is stored in Chrome; connected drafts are sent over HTTPS to the associated Aven workspace.

Sharing

Aven does not sell extension data or share it with advertising networks or data brokers. Google Cloud/Firebase and Vercel may process information as infrastructure providers, and disclosures may occur when required for law, security, or an approved business transfer.

Retention and deletion

Local recovery data is removed after successful synchronization or when extension data is cleared. Server-side drafts remain until the workspace owner deletes the related content or account, or requests deletion, subject to limited backup, security, fraud-prevention, and legal retention requirements.

Limited Use

Aven's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Extension data is never used for personalized advertising.
